The new solution was developed in the facility in Rouen and follows a rigorous process including quality control and advanced reporting.

Production Excellence

The solution was tried and tested by a forward-thinking Greif customers in France. Their decision followed an intensive certification process to make sure the Greif facility in Rouen complies with their high standards and for on-going quality assurance, three drums per batch are tested and results tracked. The solution has since been implemented in Laudun, a second plant in France.

The customer has now stopped washing drums on-site and the rigorous tests have confirmed that the advanced internal cleanliness of our drums was higher than the levels achieved on-site.

Customer Service Excellence

By moving to the new, cleaner drums, our customer has removed a safety risk and improved efficiency at the same time which is not always easy to achieve. In addition, we worked in close partnership to reduce transport costs and to add sustainability value by developing a customized palletization solution.

Customers in the pharma, cosmetics, food and coatings industries have since adopted the advanced internal cleanliness drums.
